On January 28 the Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs Koryun Nahapetyan visited defensive positions of Tavush Marz on the occasion of the Army Day.

Koryun Nahapetyan congratulated the military servicemen’s holiday and handed them over presents. He got familiarized with the everyday conditions of the military unit and the soldiers’ daily life. Then the Committee Chairman met with the heads of the bordering villages Chinar, Artsvaberd and Choratan, discussed with them numerous issues concerning the population of the bordering territories.

The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee also visited key-points, met with the reserve soldiers, congratulated them and gave presents on the occasion of the holiday. On the spot observations were carried out, a sincere talk was held with the military servicemen about the service process, violations of the ceasefire regime and different problems concerning military servicemen.
