On April 22 the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Management and Local Self-Government at the sitting moderated by Stepan Margaryan debated and endorsed the bill “On Amending the RA Law On Local Self-Government” submitted by the RA Government, debated in the second reading to be included in the draft law of the agenda of the NA upcoming four-day sittings.

The key speaker, the First Deputy Minister of the RA Territorial Administration Vache Terteryan said that all the recommendations submitted by the deputies had been passed.

The Committee made a decision to organize parliamentary hearings on the theme “The Problems of Legal Regulation of Financial Leveling and Ways of Their Solution” in mid-June.

It was also decided  to hold the next sitting of the Committee in Armavir marz, where they would debate with the representatives of local self-government bodies another bill authored by the RA Government “On Amending the RA Law on Local Self-Governance.”
