On May 25 the RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan took part at the National Art Gallery of Armenia in the opening of the photo exhibition with the heading “Along the Trails of the Armenian Orphans” organized by the U.S. Embassy to the RA, the Near East Foundation and Naregatsi Art Institute, where the U.S. Ambassador to the RA John Heffern, the RA Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan, political and cultural figures were attending it.

The collection of the photos of the Armenians massacred in the Ottoman Empire in 1915, concerning the History of Armenia of the Rockfeller Archive Center functioning in the USA has been introduced in the exhibition.

Highlighting the organization of such exhibitions, in his word the NA President Hovik Abrahamyan has noted that not condemning the Armenian Genocide a danger arises for new genocides.

Sharing his impressions in his talk with the journalists the NA President expressed hope that the United States finally will recognize and condemn the Armenian Genocide.
