At the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations held on June 5, which was presiding the Committee Chairman Artak Zakaryan 10 international treaties were endorsed for including them in the draft laws of the agendas of the NA spring session and upcoming four-day sittings.
The RA Deputy Minister of Transport and Communication Hrant Beglaryan submitted for the assessment of the Committee the loan agreement “Improvement Programme of the Road Network of Vital Importance” signed on February 11, 2013 between the RA and the International Bank of Reconstruction and Development.
The RA Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan presented the protocol with enclosed announcement signed in Ashgabad on May 30, 2012 “On Amending the Treaty of November 25, 1998 on Provision of Parallel Works of Electric Energy Systems of the CIS States.
By the presentation of the RA Deputy Minister of Agriculture Garnik Petrosyan, the deputies debated the protocol “On Amending the Agreement of September 11, 1998 on Cooperation in the Sphere of Forest Industry Complex and Forest Economy.”
The RA Deputy Minister of Defense Ara Nazaryan presented the agreement “On Cooperation in the Sphere of Engineering Provision between the Armed Forces of the CIS States” signed in Ashgabad on 30 May 2012, the agreement signed on November 29, 2012 “On Cooperation in the Sphere of Seismic Protection between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of Turkmenistan,.” as well as the agreement “On Mutual Providing Plots for Deployment of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to Turkmenistan and the Embassy of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia between the RA Government and the Government of Turkmenistan” signed in Yerevan on November 29, 2012.
By the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Liana Hunanyan presented the Development Programme (special functions) Guarantee agreements of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Support Section.
The Committee debated the agreements “On Air Communication between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and Government of Turkmenistan” and “On Scientific Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and Government of Turkmenistan.”
The debated agreements will be submitted to the NA ratification.
Oat the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Vardan Ayvazyan and held on the same day the draft law “Regulating the Activity of the Companies Registered in the Offshore Zones in the Sphere of Mine Industry of the Republic of Armenia” authored by Hrant Bagratyan was debated.
The RA Minister of Finance Davit Sargsyan presented the non positive view of the RA Government.
The Committee submitted non positive conclusion on the bill.
The NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs did not cover the agenda: the Committee will convene the next sitting on June 7 at 12:00.
