On September 2 the RA NA Standing Committee on Management and Local Self-Government moderated by Stepan Margaryan debated and endorsed the draft law submitted in the second reading “On Amending the RA Law on Property Tax” authored by the RA Government.

The draft will be included in the draft agenda of the upcoming NA four-day sittings.

On the same day the RA NA Committee on Agriculture and Environment moderated by Martun Grigoryan debated the package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on Nature Territories Being Especially Preserved,” “On Amending the RA Law on Local Self –Government,” “On Amending the RA Land Code” and “On Amending the RA Law on Ecological Control.” The key reporter, the RA Deputy Minister of Nature Protection Simon Papyan said that a working group had been created in the Ministry, and representatives of the NA Standing Committee on Agriculture and Environment and NGOs had taken part in it.

The members of the Committee also debated the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Alcoholic Drinks with Grapes,” which presented the RA Deputy Minister of Agriculture Robert Makaryan.

The debated bills will be included with endorsement in the agenda draft of the fourth session of the National Assembly of the fifth convocation.

At the sitting the deputies approved the schedule of the citizens’ reception during September-December months.
