On September 9 under the state anthem sounds the opening of the 4^th session of the 5^th convocation National Assembly was held and the parliamentary works of 4-day sittings of the first session began. 

The RA NA president Hovik Abrahamyan firsty presented the draft agendas of the session and 4-day sitting, then postponement of some bills and resolutions on special procedure for discussions. The Parliament indorsed by voting the draft agendas and NA resolutions.

On the first sitting, according to the NA Rules of Procedure, ad hoc Returning Board was shaped. The NA president suggested reestablishing the order of the previous session, which was established by voting. The NA president urged the factions to nominate candidates also for being engaged in the Committee of Ethics. 

The NA deputies in the first and second reading considered amendments of the RA laws on Profit Tax, on Copyright and Neighboring rights, on reproductive health and human rights on reproduction, RA Criminal Code and etc., which represented respectively RA Deputy Finance Minister S. Karayan, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs V. Ayvazyan, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs D. Harutyunyan, NA deputies E. Marukyan, A. Hovhannisyan.  

According to the abovementioned drafts and amendments positive conclusions were made in the RA laws by the corresponding Committees.

The Works of the 4-day sitting will be continued from September 10.
