On October 16 the NA Standing Committees on Economic Affairs and on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport convened sittings.

The NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Vardan A y vazyan debated the programme of the activity of the RA Public Services Regulatory Commission for 2014.

The Commission Chairman Robert Nazaryan has noted that one of the most important functions will be the continuous improvement of the legislative field.

The Chairman of the RA State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition Artak Shaboyan introduced the annual activity programme of the Commission for 2014.

The Committee also debated and endorsed the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Profit Tax,” which presented the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Suren Karayan.

At the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport moderated by Artak Davtyan the legislative package “On Amending the RA Law on Higher Education and Post-Graduate Specialized Education,” which presented the RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan.

The deputies also debated the draft law “On Preliminary Specialized Craftsman and Secondary Specialized Education.”

The items included in the agenda were endorsed and will be included in the agendas of the NA session and four-day sittings.
