On December 23 the NA Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan met with the Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan , Ambassador Andrey Sorokin. In the meeting the sides discussed issues of bilateral interest. They talked about the expecting meetings of the Armenian and Georgian, Armenian and Russian women deputies in future, as well as the organization of the visit of the USSR Hero, first woman-astronaut Valentina Tereshkova to the RA. Mrs Naghdalyan highlighted women parliamentarians’ meetings, active contacts, which not only create acquainting, but also provide the exchange of working experience of the women deputies of different countries, give opportunities for reinforcement of inter-parliamentary relations. The NA Vice President thanked the Ambassador for the support of organizing the Armenian and Georgian MPs’ meeting in Alaverdi in November and highly assessed it.
