On May 21 the RA NA Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan received Nicolas Briec, Secretary of the External Relations of the European People’s Party (EPP), and Beatriz de Anta de Benito, Political Adviser.

Nicolas Briec has noted that they are in the RA to follow the political new developments, contact with the heads and members of the parties cooperating with the EPP. Nicolas Briec has mentioned that the relations between the EPP and the RPA are based on common values, which create a field of deep cooperation.

Hermine Naghdalyan, as Chairperson of the RPA Women’s Council, highlighted the contacts, the cooperation with the EPP and presented the structure, activity of the RPA Women’s Council, their representation in the legislative and executive bodies. She has noted that numerous events, discussions and disputes are organized by the RPA Women’s Council: it has been eight years that it is an institutional structure and is engaged with the activities. Mrs Naghdalyan has emphasized the cooperation of the RPA Women’s Council with the EPP Women’s wing, as the contacts and the exchange of experience of the women politicians are necessary and appreciable.

During the meeting other issues of bilateral interest were discussed.
