On September 1, Knowledge Day, the RA NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan accompanied his granddaughter to Quantum College, who was going to school for the first time.

On the occasion of Knowledge Day the RA NA Speaker also visited the Yerevan Basic School N185. Let us note that the NA Speaker has been the founder director of this school for many years.

The teachers and pupils of the school met their former director with excitement and special warmth. During the festive event the first-year pupils recited poems and sang songs.

Welcoming the teachers and the schoolchildren, the RA NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan has noted that the new educational year brings with itself new programmes, new deliberations and new dreams. He has mentioned that despite the problems, the state highlights knowledge and education, and does its best in this issue for the representatives of future generation. In Mr Sahakyan’s word, evaluating the role of education and school in their children’s life Armenian parents strive to create best conditions for education. The NA Speaker has noted that the next year will be a jubilee year for the staff of the school, the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of the school.

The RA NA Speaker has been taken photos with the first-year pupils, after which he took a tour in the classrooms. Let us note that the NA Speaker did not go to school with empty hands: the children received presents on Knowledge Day.
