RA NA President Receives the Members of the “Union of School Centres” Union of Legal Entities

On September 30 the RA NA President Galust Sahakyan received the members of the “Union of School Centres” Union of Legal Entities. The Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan attended the meeting.

Welcoming the guests in the National Assembly, the NA President Galust Sahakyan has highlighted the role of the educational system, particularly, the school and the army in the establishment and reinforcement of state and formation of literate society. He has underlined that at all times the Armenian people emphasize the role of education and regard school and teacher with reverence. Touching upon the problems of the educational system, Mr Sahakyan has noted that during the recent years numerous problems have been solved in Yerevan and in the marzes.

The Chair of the “Union of School Centres” Union of Legal Entities, the RA NA deputy Ruzanna Muradyan and the members of the Union in their talk with the NA President presented the path passed by the Union, its programs and problems, touched upon the gaps and issues existing in the sphere.

Other issues were also discussed.
