On October 10 the delegation led by the Member of the European Parliament Eleni Theocharous visited Yerablur Pantheon.

The Member of the European Parliament and the members of the delegation paid their respect to the memory of the freedom fighters who had given their lives in the protection of Armenia’s borders and during the Artsakh heroic battle.

They have laid flowers at the tombs of Monte Melkonian, Sose Mother, Sparapet Vazgen Sargsyan, Zoravar Andranik, who have built the heroic pages of Armenia and Artsakh and have been eternalized for the Motherland, and at the memorial of the deceased freedom fighters.

Eleni Theocharous has recognized many freedom fighters. “They are not only heroes of Armenia and Artsakh, but also my personal heroes,” the MEP said and added: “They have sacrificed their lives for the whole humanity, liberating Artsakh. And I would like the people of Nagorno Karabakh to be free and independent for many centuries.”
