On October 24 the opening of the Educational Resource Center of the RA National Assembly was held. Let us note that the Educational Center was created on the initiative and with the USAID Support to the Armenian National Assembly Program (SANAP) and the OSCE Office in Yerevan. The RA NA deputies, the NA Chief of Staff, General Secretary Hrayr Tovmasyan, the representatives of the NA Staff, the USAID and the OSCE Office in Yerevan took part in the event. The NA Chief of Staff Hrayr Tovmasyan highlighted the creation of the Educational Center, expressing hope that soon the Center would be a venue of holding comprehensive and interesting discussions, disputes and seminars. The NA Chief of Staff expressed hope that the cooperation would be continuous. Then in the newly opened Center the first seminar was held on the theme “Constitutional Reforms.” Hrayr Tovmasyan thoroughly presented the concept of the constitutional amendments, highlighting the problem of the community awareness. He noted that the Constitution of the country should fully provide the ways of the solution of the facing problems.
