On October 28 at the joint sitting of the Standing Committees of the parliament the debates on the RA draft law “On State Budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2015” began, where the RA NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan, the RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, the RA NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan, deputies and the members of the Government were present.

The RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan presented the political approaches forming general picture of the state budget and the draft. According to the Prime Minister, the main emphases of the economic policy will be laid on two directions: improvement of the business environment and development of export and basic spheres.

The Government will continue the inspection reforms in excluding double standards and regulating state-entity relations and working transparent. Hovik Abrahamyan has informed the attendees that in the general educational institutions “National Song and Dance” subject will be included, and its aim is to preserve the national values and pass them to the generations, to form the system of values, sowing patriotism and preservation of Armenian way of thinking.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Pavel Safaryan submitted to the deputies’ assessment the main macro-economic indices, the income and the expenditure parts embedded in the basis of the draft budget.

The Chairman of the RA Central Bank (CB) Artur Javadyan presented the endorsement of the CB on the RA Law “On the RA State Budget for 2015.”

The CB Chairman also presented the draft of the administrative expenditures and capital investments of the RA Central Bank for 2014.

On the same day at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Koryun Nahapetyan and Gagik Minasyan the incomes and expenditures to be allocated to the RA Police, the RA National Security Service and the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations by the RA draft law “On RA State Budget for 2015” were debated.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Pavel Safaryan presented the budgetary means to be allocated to the abovementioned spheres in the coming year.
