On July 14, Artur Baghdasaryan, Speaker of the National Assembly of the RA met Hans-Wulf Bartels, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia on the occasion of the end of the Ambassador’s mission.

Artur Baghdasaryan, Speaker of the National Assembly of RA noting the contribution of the Ambassador in the development of the Armenian-German inter-state relations, wished success in his new job.

Mr. Bartels elaborating home and foreign problems of Armenia, during his activity highlighted the economic development and noted that FRG is ready to continue the promotion to the development projects of Armenia. He highlighted the development of democracy in Armenia and the success of the Euro Integration policy, the settlement of the NKR issue in a peaceful way.  The importance of the return of the opposition to law-making activity was also noted. Mr. Bartels also assured that the new Ambassador will also continue to promote the development of the FRG-Armenia inter-state and inter-Parliamentary relations.

During the meeting other issues were also discussed.
