On November 14 the RA NA President Galust Sahakyan attended the event dedicated to the 20^th anniversary of the Students’ Council of Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU). The RA NA Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov, the NA deputy Karen Avagyan, the Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, the lecturers and the students of University also attended the meeting. During the event the results of the Best Student award-giving ceremony, which had become a tradition in the University, were summed up. The NA deputy, the Chairman of the Armenian Youth Foundation Karen Avagyan handed certificates and presents to the students of 10 different faculties of Pedagogical University. Anna Mkrtchyan, the student of the Faculty of History and Jurisprudence, received the Best Student award. Then the Chancellor of University Ruben Mirzakhanyan awarded a Pedagogical University medal  to the former Presidents of the ASPU Students’ Council Eduard Sharmazanov, Zarzand Asatryan and the current President Nersik Margaryan.
