On November 27 the RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov by the RA NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan’s order awarded Tovmas Poghosyan, the Chairman of “Sayat Nova” Cultural Union, the RA People’s Artist the Medal of Honour of the RA National Assembly on the occasion of his big contribution to the cultural sphere and the 60^th birth anniversary.

Congratulating Tovmas Poghosyan the RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov has highlighted his past creative path in the Armenian song art, by which, as a devotee, through decades, has developed and strengthened the Armenian national culture, which is the shortest way to world culture. Eduard Sharmazanov has emphasized the efforts made by the RA People’s Artist Tovmas Poghosyan in the most crucial period for the state and the society, establishing “Sayat Nova” Cultural Union and reaching to the generations the Armenian national-gusan culture. He has thanked Tovmas Poghosyan for his invaluable contribution to the development of the Armenian culture.

In his word of gratitude the People’s Artist Tovmas Poghosyan has considered a big honour enjoying the NA high award in the independent Motherland.
