On March 15 the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan received the EU Delegation members, international experts Gerold Heinrichs, Thomas Reineke, Krzysztof Gulda, Johanna Ringhofer and Azir Aliu. Samvel Harutyunyan, Chairman of the Science State Committee of the RA Ministry of Education and Science, attended the meeting.

Artak Davtyan has presented the RA legislation, the privileges on the sphere of science, particularly, the newest technologies, events and prior directions aimed at science development, touched upon the process of drafting the RA bill “On Scientific and Scientific-Educational Activity Expertise” and informed that today it is an acceptable draft law for all the concerned parties. Welcoming the mission of the EU Delegation, Artak Davtyan has submitted the problems of the area, evaluated the international experts’ study and their possible recommendations.

According to the information provided by the guests, the report on the results of the implemented research in the spheres of science and newest technologies is going to be submitted for the relevant body’s consideration in June.
