On April 9 the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan received Katherine Leach, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the RA.

The interlocutors discussed issues concerning the development of the parliamentary relations within the framework of Armenia-European Union, as well as talked about the development of the relations between the parliament and the RA NA to be shaped after the elections in Great Britain.

During the meeting the sides touched upon the events of the Armenian Genocide Centennial, the peaceful settlement of the NK problem and Azerbaijan’s non-constructive and threatening actions, a number of regional problems, as well as other issues of bilateral interest.
