On April 28 within the framework of the NA “Open Doors” programme the Speaker of the RA National Assembly Galust Sahakyan hosted the teachers and pupils of Artashat Senior School. Firstly, they attended the NA sitting and observed the deputies’ work.

Welcoming them the NA Speaker has talked about the activities of the legislative power, noting that it is an important platform, where issues of public sounding and those related to different spheres are debated and solved by law.

The NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan, in particularly, touched upon the Armenian Genocide events, noting that due to the work of many citizens it became possible to organize them at high level. The NA Speaker highlighted the holding of the events of the Armenian Genocide Centennial in different parts of the world, which had more consolidated the Armenian people.

Afterwards Galust Sahakyan answered the pupils’ questions concerning the Armenian-Turkish relations, the repairing of Artashat School, the activities of the religious groups in our country, the relations of Armenia with the international structures and the NK problem.
