On May 5 the NA Standing Committees convened sittings.

The NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs in the first reading debated the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Aviation,” which submitted the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Sergey Avetisyan.

The legislative package “On Amending the RA Law on Trade and Services” was also debated in the first reading which submitted the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Vakhtang Mirumyan.

Vakhtang Mirumyan in the first reading procedure also submitted for debate the package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on Income Tax” and “On Amending the RA Law on Profit Tax.” The RA Minister of Economy Karen Chshmaritian in the second reading submitted for consideration the legislative package “On Amending the RA Law on Turnover Tax,” “On Amending the RA Law on Taxes,” “On Amending the RA Law on Organization and Holding of the Check-Ups in the RA,” “On Amending the RA Law on Value Added Tax,” “On Amending the RA Law on Exempting from Taxes the Activities on the Borderline Rural Communities.” The key speaker has noted that the recommendations by the NA deputies and the Government have mostly been passed.

As a result of debates, the Committee presented an endorsement on the abovementioned bill and legislative packages included in the agenda of May 5 extraordinary sitting.

On the same year at the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations the Doha amendment to Kyoto protocol approved on 8 December 2012 was debated moderated by Artak Zakaryan. The key speaker, the RA Minister of Nature Protection Aramais Grigoryan noted about the amendments.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Vache Terteryan presented the credit agreement signed on 19 December 2014.

The debated international agreements with endorsement of the Committee will be submitted for the ratification of the parliament.
