On May 6 the RA National Assembly continued the work of the extraordinary sitting passing by voting the package of the draft laws debated in the first reading “On Amending the RA Law on Income Tax” and “On Amending the RA Law on Profit Tax.”
Afterwards the deputies continued debating the legislative package “On Making Addendum to the RA Law on Trade and Services” and “On Amending the RA Law on Trade and Services.”
In his co-report the Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Vardan Ayvazyan positively assessed the steps initiated in this sphere by the government.
The NA deputies Hovhannes Margaryan, Mikayel Melkumyan, Heghine Bisharyan and Ishkhan Khachatryan presented their viewpoints on the issue.
In his final speech the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Vakhtang Mirumyan once again has stressed that temporary solution is not given to the problems by the draft law.
Afterwards the parliament debated the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Approving the Internal Service Regulations of the RA Armed Forces,” which submitted the RA Deputy Defense Minister.
The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs Koryun Nahapetyan presented the endorsement of the Committee, noting that the legislative package was thoroughly debated in the Committee and was endorsed.
The parliament in the first reading debated the package of the draft laws “On the Status of the Military Units and Military Institutions” and “On Amending the RA Law on Education,” which submitted the RA Deputy Ministry of Defense Ara Nazaryan.
Koryun Nahapetyan presented the endorsement of the Committee on the legislative initiative.
The RA Minister of Economy Karen Chshmaritian in the second reading presented the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Turnover Tax” and the enclosed package of bills.
Vardan Ayvazyan presented the endorsement of the Head Committee.
Afterwards the deputies in the first reading debated the package of bills “On Amending the RA Criminal Code” and “On Amending the RA Criminal Procedure Code,” which presented the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Arman Tatoyan.
The debate of the issue will resume at May 7 extraordinary sitting.
