On May 12 the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Gagik Minasyan in the first reading debated the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Banks and Banking Activity” authored by the NA deputy Hrant Bagratyan.
The representatives of the RA Government and the RA Central Bank expressed readiness to begin debates with the author of the bill.
The Committee did not endorse the debated bill for including it in the draft law of the agenda of the NA session.
The RA First Deputy Minister of the Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Vache Terteryan presented the credit agreement “Management Programme of Kotayk Marz Solid Wastes between the Republic of Armenia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development” signed on 19 December 2014.
The deputies addressed questions concerning them to the Deputy Minister which mainly referred to the possibility of the waste removal tariff rise, the garbage recycling within the framework of the programme and the increase of the new jobs and the monitoring of the programme implementation by the government.
The debated agreement with the endorsement will be submitted to the ratification of the parliament.
At the sitting the Committee approved the brief description of the annual report “On the RA State Budget Execution for 2014.”
The Committee made a decision to organize parliamentary hearings jointly with the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations on the procedure of the programme implementation of the “North-South Road Corridor” on May 15 at 11 a.m..
Gagik Minasyan informed that the final forum of the works of the first phase of the improvement of the main indices of the executive of the budgetary programmes will be held at the NA Gilded Hall on May 21 at 10 a.m..
