On May 18 within the framework of the NA Open Doors programme the chairs of the Pupils’ Board of 33 Senior Schools from Yerevan and Ararat Marz visited the National Assembly. They attended the four-day sittings going on in the Session Hall of the parliament and observed the deputies’ work. The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Hermine Naghdalyan conducted the open lesson.
Welcoming the guests the NA Deputy Speaker presented the activities of the NA Standing Committees and parliamentary factions, the procedures of the drafting of the legislative initiatives and the procedures of the adoption, as well as talked about the importance of the military-patriotic upbringing of the new generation and the establishment of the civil society.
Mrs Naghdalyan highlighted every citizen’s participation in the establishment of the state. She has noted that it is necessary to have a big reserve of knowledge, display features of will power and human high qualities.
Mrs Naghdalyan also answered the schoolchildren’s questions.
