On May 19 within the framework of the NA Open Doors the Speaker of the RA National Assembly Galust Sahakyan hosted the pupils and the teachers of the Secondary School N 1 of Karmirgyugh community of Gegharkunik Marz. Before the meeting they took a tour in the building of the parliament, were in the NA Session Hall and observed the deputies’ work.

Welcoming the guests the NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan introduced the activities of the legislative power, the NA Standing Committees and the procedures of drafting the legislative initiatives and making decisions. The Head of the legislative body touched upon the slogan of the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide and the diplomatic relations with different countries.

The Head of the parliament also answered the schoolchildren’s questions.

At the end of the visit the pupils and the pedagogues have been taken a photo with the NA Speaker in the NA Session Hall.
