On July 6-9 the RA NA deputy, the Head of Armenia-Great Britain Friendship Group Levon Martirosyan with the delegation led by the President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan was on a working visit in Great Britain.

Levon Martirosyan and the members of the delegation had meetings in London with the members of the Armenian Community Council and discussed a number of issues of bilateral interest.

During the visit the ceremony of tribute of the great friend of Artsakh people Baroness Caroline Cox was held, when Levon Martirosyan handed over the RA NA Medal of Honour to the Baroness in the name of the RA Speaker of the National Assembly Galust Sahakyan. The Head of Armenia-Great Britain Friendship Group handed over the NA Speaker’s Medal also to Odette Basil, who is the long-term secretary of Great Britain-Armenia Friendship Group of the Parliament of Great Britain.

The Baroness expressed her gratitude to the Speaker of the RA National Assembly Galust Sahakyan, the members of Armenia-Great Britain Friendship Group for highly assessing her long-term activities and expressed readiness to continue her pro-Armenian activities in future.
