On September 29 the Head of the NA Armenia-Iran Friendship Group Vahram Baghdasaryan received Mohammad Raiesi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission.

Highly assessing and evaluating the current multilateral relations between Armenia and Iran, Vahram Baghdasaryan has noted that Ambassador Raiesi also had significant contribution to the friendly relations, as well as inter-parliamentary ties. Vahram Baghdasaryan has expressed that the exemplary relations of the two countries with a centuries-old centuries, as well as historical-cultural rich traditions and ties will also continue during the next Ambassador’s tenure.

Ambassador Raiesi thanked him effective cooperation and assured that regardless of his occupied position he will continue to remain the warm friend of Armenia.

In the course of the meeting the sides touched upon the regional problems, the settlement of the NK conflict and the foreign policy issues. Vahram Baghdasaryan highlighted the balanced position of Iran in the settlement of the NK conflict.
