Open Lesson in the Parliament
1 / 5

On October 26 within the framework of the NA “Open Doors” programme the students and the professors of Gyumri Mikael Nalbandian State Pedagogical Institute visited the parliament.

Welcoming the students, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Hermine Naghdalyan presented the procedure of the Constitutional Amendments, talked about the form of the parliamentary government, as well as touched upon the activities of the parliament, the economic situation of the country and the situation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. In this context, Mrs Naghdalyan has noted that tomorrow’s security and the soundness of the borders of Armenia depend on today’s youth.

The Deputy Speaker of the parliament has highlighted the format of the “Open Doors” programme and has noted that this is a platform, which gives an opportunity to the society to get acquainted with the issues concerning them through young people.

Hermine Naghdalyan also answered the students’ and professors’ questions, which related to the social-economic situation of Armenia, the NK conflict, the functioning Constitution and the amendments under proposal.

At the end of the visit the guests have been taken photo with the NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan in the Session Hall of the National Assembly.
