On November 3 the delegation led by the Speaker of the Council of the Federation of the RF Federal Assembly Valentina Matvienko visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex of Tsitsernakaberd accompanied by the RA NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan, within the framework of the official visit to Armenia.

The members of the delegation put a wreath at the 1915 Armenian Genocide Monument, laid flowers at the eternal fire perpetuating the innocent victims’ memory and honoured bowing in silence in memory of the holy martyrs.

The Russian parliamentarians got acquainted with the documents and exhibits telling about the Armenian Genocide at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute and left a note in the Memory Book.
