On November 5 the financial indices allocated to the spheres of the social security by the RA draft law “On the RA State Budget for 2016” were debated at the joint sitting of the NA Standing Committees on Protection of Human Rights and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Elinar Vardanyan and Gagik Minasyan respectively.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Finance Pavel Safaryan presented the financial indices of the sphere.

The Chief of Staff of the Human Rights Defender (HRD) Tigran Areyan presented the non-financial indices of the HRD Office. He has also added that the RA law “On Human Rights Defender” is necessary to amend.

The financial allocations and the envisaged programmes concerning the European integration included in the RA draft law “On the RA State Budget for 2016” were debated at the joint sitting of the NA Standing Committees on European Integration and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Naira Zohrabyan and Gagik Minasyan respectively.

The RA Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Karen Nazaryan submitted for the deputies’ debate the implemented and envisaged programmes in the sphere. Touching upon the RA-EU relations, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has noted that Armenia is concerned about continuing the cooperation with the EU in different spheres.

According to the preliminary assessment, it is possible to keep the texts negotiated with the EU. It is expected that the RA-EU new negotiations will officially start in December.

On the same day the financial allocations reflected in the RA draft law “On the RA State Budget for 2016” with respect to the RA foreign relations were debated at the joint sitting of the NA Standing Committees on Foreign Relations and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Alexander Arzumanyan and Gagik Minasyan respectively.

The RA Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan presented the action plan of the foreign department.
