On December 23 the RA NA Speaker, President of the Managing Board of Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) Galust Sahakyan took part in the meeting of the Managing Board of the University.

The Board listened to the report made by the ASPU Chancellor Ruben Mirzakhanyan on the activities of the University for 2015. The Board considered satisfactory the works done by voting, as well as approved the draft budget of the University for 2016.

During the Board meeting the NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan, answering the questions of the Board members, particularly, noted: “The creation of the strong generation and the powerful Motherland depends on the pedagogues educating the nation. The educational environment forms the society and directs it.”

Galust Sahaykan has underlined that the driving force of the state is the higher educational system, and Armenian State Pedagogical University is the datan bank where the future pedagogues are trained.
