On February 24, the RA National Assembly continued the work of the four-day sittings the draft law “On Making Addenda to the RA Law on State Duty.”

The deputies in the first reading continued debating the draft law “On Making Addenda to the RA Law on State Duty” authored by the Government.

The deputies Hrant Bagratyan, Tevan Poghosyan, Khosrov Harutyunyan, Levon Dokholyan and Hovhannes Margaryan presented their viewpoints on the draft law.

In their final speeches Vardan Ayvazyan and the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Emil Tarasyan answered the deputies’ interpellations, touched upon the recommendations and the remarks.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Vakhtang Mirumyan in the first reading submitted the draft law “On Making Addendum to the RA Law on Cash Operations.”

The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Vardan Ayvazyan presented the endorsements in his report on the abovementioned draft laws.

Afterwards the parliament debated the protocol On Making Amendments in the Agreement of June 9, 2009 on Establishment of the Anti-Crisis Fund of the Eurasian Economic Community signed on June 15, 2015 (with reservation attached thereto), which submitted the RA Deputy Minister of Finance-Chief Treasurer Atom Janjughazyan.

Atom Janjughazyan also presented the protocol of June 9, 2009 on Making Amendments in the Agreement on Management of Resources of the Anti-Crisis Fund of the Eurasian Economic Community (with reservation attached thereto) signed on June 15, 2015.

The member of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Shirak Torosyan submitted the endorsement of the Committee.

The deputies in the first reading also debated the package of bills “On Making Addendum and Amendment to the RA law on Safe Use of the Nuclear Energy for Peaceful Purposes” and “On Making Addendum to the RA law on Organizing and Holding Check-ups in the Republic of Armenia,” submitted by the Chairman of the State Nuclear Safety Regulatory Committee adjunct to the RA Government Ashot Martirosyan.

Vardan Ayvazyan presented the endorsement of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs.

According to the established order of the NA Rules of Procedure, at the last sitting the members of the government answered the deputies’ questions.
