On March 29, the regular sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Social Affairs moderated by Hakob Hakobyan was held.

The draft law on Amending the RA Law on Social Guarantees of the Persons Occupying State Positions authored by the deputies Vahram Baghdasaryan, Tatshat Vardapetyan, Hamlet Harutyunyan, Vazgen Karakhanyan, Karine Atshemyan, Arshak Mkhitaryan, Gagik Melikyan was debated in the first reading, which was presented by Gagik Melikyan. The voting of the draft law was postponed by the consent of the key speaker Gagik Melikyan and the Committee members.

Armen Yeghiazaryan, Director of the State Agency of the National Centre for Legislative Regulation Project Implementation Unit of the RA Government Staff, presented the draft law on Amending the RA Law on the Status of the Rescue Forces and the Rescuer in the first reading.

As a result of the debate, the draft law was endorsed by the Committee to be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the NA session and the upcoming four-day sittings.
