On May 5, the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations moderated by Artak Zakaryan debated the Finance Contract “Yerevan Solid Waste - Phase 1” signed between the Republic of Armenia and the European Investment Bank (EIB) on October 16, 2015. The key speaker, the First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Kamo Areyan has noted that by that Agreement 8mln Euro loan will be provided for the improvement of Yerevan Solid Waste Management System.

Kamo Areyan also presented the Loan Agreement “Yerevan Solid Waste Project” signed between the Republic of Armenia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on December 11, 2015.

The debated international agreements with the endorsement of the Committee will be submitted for the ratification of the parliament.
