On May 16, the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan met with the Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Javier Nart.

The parliamentarians discussed issues relating to Armenia-European Union cooperation, as well as the joint work with the Committee on Foreign Relations of the European Parliament.

In the course of the meeting the sides touched upon the Nagorno Karabakh. The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan presented the situation created over the Nagorno Karabakh after the Azerbaijani aggression at the beginning of April and talked about the negotiation process.

The interlocutors discussed issues regarding Armenia’s inner and foreign policy.

The Member of the European Parliament Javier Nart has noted that he designs to come again to Armenia and try to be useful for more objectively presenting the problems of Armenia in the European Parliament.
