On June 29, the RA NA Deputy Speaker met with the students of Faculties of Armenian Philology and Romance-Germanic Philology of Yerevan State University, Faculty of History and Jurisprudence of Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University.

Welcoming the students’ visit to the legislative body of the country, the NA Deputy Speaker at the request of the youth touched upon and gladly answered a number of questions, presented his overviews on them and the policy pursued in those spheres.

The youth, particularly, was interested in the Armenian Genocide recognition and with regard to it the remote goals of our country, the Artsakh freedom battle and the negotiation process directed to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, the necessity of Nagorno Karabakh involvement in that process, the steps taken to the rise of the education quality in our country, the unemployment, the corruption and struggle against it. Eduard Sharmazanov, among these issues also referred to the issue of having national image of education, his vision of building of the RA citizen’s character, the negative phenomena demolishing the family system of values, the necessity of preservation and dissemination of Christian system of values.
