RA National Assembly Approves RA Government Programme

On October 21, the RA National Assembly continued debating the item on the Approval of the RA Government, on which the NA deputies delivered speeches.

The RA NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan delivered an extraordinary speech. The full text of the speech is posted on the parliament website.

The NA deputies Hakob Hakobyan, Ishkhan Khachatryan, Aram Manukyan and Gagik Melikyan expressed their opinions on the item under debate.

The NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan delivered an extraordinary speech and highlighted the programme with its perspectives, continuous programmes and distinctiveness. In Mrs Naghdalyan’s word, the programme will propose significant solutions in terms of proposal of the involvement of the investments, new approaches for economic development. She expressed confidence that the Government will be able to implement the programme.

The RA NA Factions (Head of the Rule of Law Heghine Bisharyan, Secretary of the ARF Aghvan Vardanyan, Head of the ANC Levon Zurabyan, Member of the PAP Mikayel Melkumyan, and Head of the RPA Vahram Baghdasaryan) also expressed their viewpoints on the RA Government programme.

In his final speech the RA Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan thanked the MPs for the concerned debate and noted that irrespective of voting the Government was open for practical proposals and criticism. Mr Karapetyan touched upon the parliamentarians’ recommendations and concerns. As a result of voting, the parliament with 85 for, 6 abstained and 7 against voting correaltion approved the RA Government programme.
