On November 17, the parliament continued the work of the four-day sittings and by voting passed the items debated on the previous day, including the legislative package of the RA draft laws on Compensation of the Damages Caused to the Servicemen’s Life or Health during the RA Defense, on Amending the RA Law on Servicemen’s and Their Family Members’ Social Security and on Amending the RA Law on State Pensions with 100 for and 3 against correlation.

The Deputy Minister of Justice Artak Asatryan in the first reading submitted the draft law on Amending the RA Criminal Judicial Code.

The member of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Levon Martirosyan presented the endorsement of the Committee.

Afterwards, the RA Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan presented the draft law on the RA State Budget for 2017.

The NA deputies in Q & A session tried to find out the rates of state debt growth, the export volumes, the events designed by the programme, the state duty amount, the index of the economic growth, tax-budgetary and monetary-credit policy, the development of industry, the foreign policy, etc.

The Chairman of the RA Central Bank Artur Javadyan submitted the endorsement of the CB on the RA State Budget.

The Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Gagik Minasyan presented the endorsement of the Committee and gave details on the draft law of the RA State Budget

Summing up his speech Gagik Minasyan has noted that the RA State Budget was made up, taking into consideration the challenges facing the state, it is also realistic and balanced.

The Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs Koryun Nahapetyan submitted the endorsement of the Committee.

The NA deputies expressed their viewpoints on the draft law.
