On November 23, the co-rapporteurs of PACE Monitoring Committee for Armenia Alan Meale and Giuseppe Galati accompanied by the RA NA Deputy Speaker, the Head of the RA NA Delegation to PACE Hermine Naghdalyan visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.

The European high-ranking guests laid flowers at the eternal fire and in silence and bowing honoured the memory of Holy Martyrs.

The co-rapporteurs of PACE Monitoring Committee for Armenia had been in the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, got acquainted with the papers and documents proving the Armenian Genocide.

Alan Meale noted that the atrocities and the Genocide that took place towards Armenians by the Turks should be condemned by everybody. The Governments should recognize what occurred. The people should be informed, and they should teach at schools about genocide and we should do everything, so it will not be repeated.

In Giuseppe Galati's opinion, the Council of Europe does a lot of work for stabilising the relations between the countries with different religions in order such tragedies will not take place.
