On February 27, within the framework of the RA NA Open Doors programme the lecturers and students of YSU Faculty of Journalism visited the parliament. At first, the guests attended the NA sitting, after which within the framework of the traditional open lesson the RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov met with them.
By the NA Deputy Speaker’s proposal the open lesson went on in Q & A session. During the sincere talk with the students Mr Sharmazanov expressed his view on the inner and external political numerous problems, and different public-political phenomena.
Eduard Sharmazanov touched upon the hard path of building of the Armenian people’s independence and underlined that in different historical times the pledge of the Armenian people’s success had always been the cohesion of all Armenians.
The RA NA Deputy Speaker referred to the parliamentary elections to be held in our country in the future, noting: “Our state should get out of any election becoming stronger. We need stable and strong Motherland, where there should be criticism and pluralism, but never hatred.”
At the students’ request, Mr Sharmazanov also talked about the Constitutional referendum held in Artsakh, the problems of Javakhk and Georgian Armenians, the preservation of the Armenian churches abroad and in that issue steps taken by the state bodies.
