On March 6, the Deputy Speaker of the RA National Assembly Hermine Naghdalyan received the Head of the Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) Lyubov Glebova and persons accompanying her.

Welcoming the guests in the parliament of Armenia, the NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan highly assessed the Armenian-Russian centuries-old friendship and the traditional ties, in this context touched upon the work of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, emphasized the cooperation with Rossotrudnichestvo and the necessity of its deepening.

In the course of the meeting, issues concerning the ways of the Armenian-Russian further cooperation and possibilities in the cultural, educational and information spheres were discussed. The sides touched upon the problems of deepening of the Armenian-Russian relations at legislative level, in the sub-legislative field and through concrete programmes and implementation of actions. They also talked about steps providing diversity and content of the programmes underway for the people representing the different layers and spheres of youth and society.
