The RA NA Speaker Ara Babloyan sent a message of condolences to John Bercow and Lord Fowler, Speaker of the House of Commons and Lord Speaker of the House of Lords of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland respectively. The condolence message reads:

“Your Excellency,

I learnt with deep pain about the severe terror attack in London, which inflicted civilian casualties.

On behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and personally me, we offer our deepest condolences to you, I refer our words of support and sympathy to you, the friendly people of the United Kingdom and the victims’ relatives, wishing them fortitude and patience, and quick recovery to the injured.

We strictly condemn the extreme manifestations based on intolerance and hatred. Our consolidated efforts should be directed to the fight against this dreadful phenomenon.

Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
