On June 26, the RA NA Deputy Speaker attended a memory event organized in Nork Marash Medical Centre. The RA Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan, the RA NA deputies, representatives of the RA Ministry of Defense and Yerevan Municipality, parents and doctors of the Armenian sons, who died in the April four-day war.

Let us note that Nork Marash Medical Centre provided free treatment certificates to the families of the April four-day war victims for termless use. 25 families from Yerevan and Gyumri are included in the programme by now, but as the Director of Nork Marash Medical Centre Lida Muradyan mentioned, they have a goal to make the programme continuous.

The RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov highlighted the implementation of such programmes in the context of Nation-Army idea. In his word, humanity and cohesion are features characterizing the Armenian people, and it is not accidental that in the April war the brave Armenian sons heroically fought. “This is in the Armenian’s gene. We are Armenian Christians and through centuries we have fought and we will fight for prospering our free and independent Motherland. They are Vardan Mamikonians of the 21^st century: they won in the battle. Your sons have won the death and left for eternity,” Mr Sharmazanov underlined.

The RA Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan, the RA NA deputies Vahram Baghdasaryan and Aghvan Vardanyan and the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan David Ohanyan also voiced words of gratitude.
