On September 27, the RA NA Standing Committees convened sittings.

The RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Sport and Youth moderated by Vardan Bostanjyan debated and endorsed two agreements presented by the RA Deputy Minister of Culture Artur Poghosyan, and the RA Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Arman Khachatryan, which will be included in the NA Autumn Session draft agenda.

Afterwards the Committee debated in the working procedure the draft laws on the Museums and the RA Museum Fund and on Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements.

The RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights moderated by Hrayr Tovmasyan debated and the draft law on Amending the RA Judicial Code for including it in the draft agenda of the RA NA Autumn Session. It was presented by the RA NA Deputy Speaker Arpine Hovhannisyan.

The Committee also endorsed the package of draft laws on Amending the RA law on State Service in the National Assembly Staff, on Amending the RA law on Public Service, presented by the member of the NA RPA Faction Shushan Sardaryan.

The RA First Deputy Head of Police Hunan Poghosyan presented the draft law on Ratifying an Agreement, and the Committee endorsed it for including in the draft agendas of the RA NA Session and the upcoming sittings.

The Committee also endorsed the draft law on Prosecutor’s Office presented by the RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Artur Hovhannisyan.

At the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations moderated by Armen Ashotyan the RA draft law on Ratifying the Convention on International Liability for Damage Caused by Space Objects, which presented the RA Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Arman Khachatryan.

The RA draft laws will be included in the draft agenda of the RA NA regular sittings.

Afterwards the Committee debated the draft law on Creating the NA Ad Hoc Committee on Presenting Endorsement to the National Assembly on the RA NA draft statement on Beginning Process of Suspending the Treaty Enactment of the EEC on the Republic of Armenia of the RA NA Way Out Faction, which the Head of the RA NA Way Out Faction Nikol Pashinyan presented to the MPs.

The RA Minister of Economic Developments and Investments Suren Karayan and the RA Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan took part in the Committee sitting.

The RA NA deputies Shirak Torosyan, Mikayel Melkumyan (the RA NA Deputy Speaker, the representative of the RA NA Tsarukyan faction), Armen Rustamyan (the Head of the RA NA ARF Faction), Hermine Naghdalyan, Artak Zeynalyan, Ararat Zurabyan, Artashes Geghamyan, Aram Sargsyan and Karen Bekaryan expressed their viewpoints on the draft law. The draft law under debate was not endorsed.

On the same day the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security moderated by Koryun Nahapetyan was held. During the sitting and by the Committee decisions parliamentary oversight themes were set out: the Enactment Process of the RA law on Military-Industrial Complex, and the Enactment Process of the RA Laws on the State Border and on the Borderline Troops and the International Treaties in that Sphere, the Enactment Process of the International Treaties in the Sphere Military-Technical Cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation.

The Committee made a decision to hold parliamentary hearings on October 11 On New Regulations on Military Conscription and Military Service and on October 13 The Development of the National Capabilities in the Sphere of Disaster Risk Management.

The debate of the draft law on Amending the RA law on Property Tax included in the sitting agenda was postponed.
