On October 3, the RA National Assembly began the work of the regular sittings. The deputies approved the draft laws of the agendas of the second session of the RA NA sixth convocation and the sittings being convened on October 3.
By the presentation of the RA Minister of Agriculture Ignati Arakelyan, the parliament debated the draft law on Ratifying the Protocol on Amending the Agreement of 11 September 1998 on Cooperation in the Wood-Industry Complex and Wood Sphere.
The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local-Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Vardevan Grigoryan presented the endorsement of the Committee.
The RA First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Vache Terteryan presented for debate in the second reading the revised draft law on Amending the RA Law on the Local Self-Government in the City of Yerevan.
Araik Hovhannisyan introduced the endorsement of the NA Head Committee.
The deputies Naira Zohrabyan, Nikol Pashinyan, Margarit Yesayan, Artak Zeynalyan, Eduard Sharmazanov, Gagik Melikyan, Shirak Torosyan and Araik Hovhannisyan expressed their viewpoints on the draft law.
Afterwards, the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Karen Tamazyan presented for debate in the first reading the draft laws on Amending the RA Law on Accumulated Pensions, on Amending the RA Law on Income Tax and Personified Accounting Social Payment and on Amending the RA Law on State Pensions.
Hakob Hakobyan presented the endorsement of the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs.
The RA NA decision draft on Creating NA Ad-hoc Committee for presenting an endorsement to the National Assembly on the RA NA draft statement (Kh-127-11.09.2017-AH-013/0) on beginning a process of stopping the action of the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty on the Republic of Armenia authored by the RA NA Way Out Faction was debated.
The Head of the RA NA Way Out Faction Nikol Pashinyan presented for debate the draft law.
The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Armen Ashotyan noted that the Head Committee by voting did not consider expedient the debate of such issue at the NA sitting.

The RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov delivered an extraordinary speech touching upon the problem in the political, legal and economic aspects.

The RA draft law on Prosecutor’s Office presented by the RA First Deputy Minister Artur Hovhannisyan was debated.
The RA NA deputy Gevorg Kostanyan presented the endorsement of the Head Committee, highlighting the adoption of the RA Law.
According to the relevant provision of the Constitutional Law the RA NA Rules of Procedure, the last sitting of the day was allotted to the deputies’ announcements.
The parliament will continue the work of the regular sitting on October 4.
