On October 8 the RA NA President Galust Sahakyan attended the solemn sitting dedicated to the one-year of the establishment of the RA Investigative Committee and Investigative Committee Employee's Day.

The Head of the Parliament accompanied by the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee took a tour in the building of the Committee and got acquainted with the conditions of the structure.

Congratulating the employees of the structure on the occasion of the holiday, the NA President Galust Sahakyan noted that during this short period the structure managed to establish. The NA President has assured that from now on the parliament also is ready to support the Committee. Speaking about the further activities of the structure, Mr Sahakyan urged to act more solid, transparent and with approaches accepted by the people. Ending his speech, Galust Sahakyan has expressed hope that the RA Investigative Committee with effective work will register results which are necessary for our state and statehood.

On the occasion of RA Investigative Committee Employee's Day for decently fulfilling the office duties, Galust Sahakyan awarded the RA NA Medal of Honour the Head of the General Department over Control of Activity of Territorial Investigative Departments of the RA Investigative Committee, Colonel of Justice Tatul Petrosyan, the RA NA Diploma the Head of the Investigative Department of the City of Yerevan of the RA Investigative Committee, General-Mayor of Justice John Farkhoyan and the Head of the General Department over Control of the Military Investigation and the Head of the Support Department of the Criminal Cases' Examination, Colonel of Justice Artur Melikyan.
