The content of the PHC model, the scope of the work, their implementation mechanisms and the experience learnt from the implementation of the new PHC model were presented.
Highlighting the work done, Gagik Mkheyan, Committee Chairman, found expedient that, before developing mechanisms of open enrolment with PHC physicians, medical services quality improvement and other mechanisms in the model will be discussed with the Committee.Taking into account the opinion of the legislative body and real facts, the created model can be more functional. As Mr. Mkheyan assessed, the theoretical and program bases should be based on real facts. As to Mnatsakan Petrosyan, Deputy Committee Chairman, the accumulated experience should be brought together to solve the problem in a legislative way, as the effectiveness and the continuity of the work is conditioned by the legal document.
