On October 25, the National Assembly has begun the work of the regular sittings. The RA NA Vice President Ruben Rubinyan informed that the Central Electoral Commission submitted Protocol No. 10 on giving the mandate of a deputy elected to the National Assembly whose powers prematurely terminated to the next candidate, according to which, the mandate is given to Davit Arushanyan, the next candidate in the first part of the electoral list of the Civil Contract Faction. Deputy Davit Arushanyan, who joined the National Assembly, was sworn in pursuant to the Constitutional Law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly.
“For the sake of realizing national goals, and strengthening the homeland, I swear to fulfill my obligations before the people in good faith, to observe the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and the laws, to promote the protection of the sovereignty and interests of the Republic of Armenia, to do everything for civil solidarity, preservation of national and universal values,” the deputy said.
Concluding his speech, Davit Arushanyan appealed to the people of Gyumri, noting that he will do everything to contribute to the implementation of unfinished programmes. It should be noted that Davit Arushanyan was the Deputy Mayor of Gyumri until recently.
