NA President Attends the Closing Ceremony of the First Pan-Armenian Winter Games

On March 2 the solemn closing ceremony of the First Pan-Armenian Winter Games was held in the yard of Kecharis Monastery Complex of Tsakhkadzor, which attended the President of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan, high ranking officials and sport fans. Let us remind that the First Pan-Armenian Winter Games started on February 24. About 400 participants of 22 cities of 11 states have taken part in the First Winter Games. Three kinds of sports included in the Games, skiing, alpine skiing and snowboard were held in Tsakhkadzor, and the ice-hockey competition was held in Yerevan. The participants have fought for 39 medals and one cup for 7 days.

The President of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan handed over medals to the winners. Welcoming the attendees and the participants the Head of the Parliament has highlighted the conduct of the Pan-Armenian Games and has noted that this sport event unites the Armenians of different corners of the world, strengthening Armenia, Artsakh and Diaspora tri-unity.

The President of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan thanked the Chairman of the World Committee of the Pan-Armenian Games Ishkhan Zakaryan, the Organizational Committee of the Pan-Armenian Games, all participants and organizers. Once again congratulating the winners of the competitions Hovik Abrahamyan announced the First Pan-Armenian Winter Games closed.
