On October 24, in the Green Foyer of the parliament with the participation of the NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan, the NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan, the NA deputies, the representatives of the Staff, artists and journalists the jubilee exhibition of the Founder Director of Gyumri Branch of Aesthetics National Centre, Professor Susanna Mkrtchyan opened.

Congratulating the gifted artist, the NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan has noted that the parliament always supports the artists and helps them organizing such exhibitions.

The NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan highlighted Susanna Mkrtchyan’s major contribution to the development of the modern Armenian fine arts.

“In Susanna Mkrtchyan’s works we see old and new Gyumri in its entire beauty, with creating people, seeking the beauty and worshipping tradition, who adhere to their old and new nice lifestyle,” the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly noted.

The talented artist has expressed her gratitude for the organization of the jubilee exhibition in the parliament, emphasized the fact that the legislative power always supports the artists, organizes their personal exhibitions in the parliament building.

Let us note that Susanna Mkrtchyan, since 1970, has had 42 personal exhibitions, has participated in many international and republican exhibitions.
